Do you offer a catalog?
At this time, we do not offer a printed catalog.
How do I place my order?
You can place your order through our secure Web site. Or if you prefer, you can
also fax or mail your order.
Do you design invitations for events besides weddings?
Absolutely! Our invitations can be customized for other events, such as anniversaries,
bar/bat mitzvahs, wedding showers, birthdays, even corporate events.
When should I order my invitations?
We recommend you order your invitations at least four to six months before your
wedding. This will allow for proofreading, production, delivery, addressing,
mailing, and time to receive your RSVPs.
How many invitations should I order?
We recommend that you order at least 25 additional invitations to cover those
unexpected last minute guests, use as keepsakes, etc. It is more costly to order
small quantities, if you end up needing them later.
Once I submit my order, how long will it take for me to get my invitations?
After submitting an order, the complete process will take between six to eight
weeks. This includes proofing and production time.
What is a save-the-date?
A save-the-date will notify your guests of when and where you are getting married.
They are important for events taking place over a holiday weekend or in a seasonally
busy locale where it's necessary to book travel arrangements and accommodations
well in advance. The minute you know the wedding date and locale, save-the-date
cards should be ordered and sent out, ideally six months ahead. The invitation
should arrive six to eight weeks before the actual date.
Do I need a reception card?
You may choose to enclose a reception card, especially if your reception takes
place at a location different from your ceremony. It is more formal to send a
reception card; however, you may prefer to place your reception wording after
the invitation text.
What response date should I use on my RSVP cards?
Response dates are normally set between two to four weeks before the wedding.
You can base your decision on how soon the wedding is, when the caterer needs
the information or when you feel most comfortable. Keep in mind that some guests
won't respond and you'll need time to go after those responses.
Who should the response card (RSVP) envelope be addressed to?
Your response card should be sent to the person handling the organization of
the guest list–usually the bride, bride’s mother or wedding planner.
Keep in mind that the address on the response envelope does not have to match
the return address on the invitation.
What return address should I use for invitations?
You should use the address of whoever is sending out the invitations. If your
parents are hosting the event, then their return address should be used. However,
some people use the return address to let people know where gifts should be sent,
so if you want your gifts to be sent directly to your home, then use your address.
When should I mail my invitations?
Invitations should be sent out 6-8 weeks before the wedding. If you’re
having a destination wedding or if your wedding falls on a holiday, we recommend
mailing them 10-12 weeks before your wedding date. We suggest sending a save-the-date
up to 12 months in advance if you are having a destination wedding.
Do your invitations require any special instructions for mailing?
Since our invitations vary in size and weight, we recommend taking an invitation
to the post office to get weighed. This will guarantee that you know how much
postage will need to be applied.
Do you offer programs, menus and place cards to coordinate with my invitations?
Absolutely! As a complement to your invitations, we offer programs, save-the-dates,
menus, announcements, place cards, and any other item you might wish to have,
just ask! These items are priced and created on a per-project basis. If you are
interested in adding any of these items to your order, e-mail us at info@jaydaonline.com.
Should I order extra envelopes?
Yes, we recommend that you order additional envelopes for potential errors when
filling out your addresses.
Can my envelopes be shipped early?
Yes, we can ship your envelopes early for a flat fee of $25.00. Envelopes will
be shipped two to three weeks after all proofs have been approved, via UPS Ground
shipping.
Do you offer addressing/calligraphy?
At this time, we are only offering letterpress printing for return address.
Can you do a rush order?
We make a great effort to ensure the best quality of our invitations, and under
normal circumstances the process takes between six to eight weeks to produce.
Rush orders are handled on a time-sensitive basis and are only handled if there
is room in the production schedule. If you need your invitations sooner than
the six to eight weeks, please contact us, so that we can check our production
schedule for availability.
What if I need to cancel my order?
We hope that you do not need to cancel your order, but if the need arises please
do so immediately. If you cancel prior to signing off on your proofs, a $75 typesetting
fee will be charged, and you will be refunded the remaining balance. However,
once you have signed off on your proofs, a refund cannot be given.
Do you offer samples?
Due to the cost involved in producing samples, at this time we can only offer a flat-printed mock-up of the requested design. Each sample will include the actual paper, envelopes, and embellishments that will be used on final product. We will also include a swatch card of the most popular colors requested. If you would like to receive a sample package, please email us at orders@jaydaonline.com and we will gladly mail your sample request via USPS.
Is your Web site secure?
Yes, all online transactions are securely processed by using Secure Sockets Layer
(SSL) encryption standard, the highest security system throughout the Internet.
If you are still not comfortable with placing your order over the Internet, please
use one of our other ordering options, such as fax (954.509.3730) or by mail.
